Advertisements, done well, on the sides of buildings are an effective and interesting way to get the information across. I thought this Nike ad was such a neat idea. It's effectively getting across the idea that these are swift running shoes and with the appearance that the windows are effected by the shoe going by, makes it even better. The size and location of an ad like this isn't going to be missed. People would notice that the windows seem out of wack on this building and that would draw them in.

I love all of these ads! Different advertisements like this are such brilliant ideas. If I saw something like this, I wouldn't be able to forget it, and the product would keep floating in my mind. I'm assuming that these are all very expensive to create, but it might well be worth it because of the large impact it makes on viewers.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with Kara, these are fascinating! I don't really see the top one being feasible unless it was a Nike building specifically. The other two are really interesting and unforgettable!
ReplyDeleteAdvertisements like these have always caught my attention. Being from Kansas City, I have seen a lot of skyscrapers and tall buildings with weird, bold advertisements on them, and they always make me stop and look. I have never seen ones quite like these, but I would definitely love the opportunity to see one in person!
ReplyDeleteI really like the second design with the paint. It is funny and cleaver... it also makes me wanna make sure that I have insurance. Designs such as these make me want the product that they are trying to sell. It is extremely clever, and it catches people attention and it allows them to remember the product. It is designs like these that I would like to remember for when I design.
